I've set my priorities (reception, guest list, date, photography, budget, wedding bands, church, invites) but how do you know what to do next. I have a date and budget in mind, guest list written, ceremony and reception locations picked out, invites designed and all i need to know is how much the deposit is and when payments are due so I can decide when to sign a contract. But how do you decide what to do next?
It's times like this i wish I had a wedding planner or a simple checklist that didn't have months just a list of to-do's in order of importance. There are plenty of countdown calendars for weddings but I'm looking for something a bit more simple and streamlined. I want to tackle the big budget items first and then move on to the minor details (some of which will be considered unnecessary for our event). I'm not looking to plan down to the tinyest detail (that will go overlooked by most people) I'm looking to plan something memorable that my guests will enjoy as will my groom and I. We have a tight budget and would love to end up way under-budget so that we can go on our honeymoon or move in together sooner. I've got my inspiration for my wedding not I just need to make it work.
